InteliNeo 6000 & InteliNeo 5500 Firmware Updates

We’re excited to announce the latest firmware updates InteliNeo 6000 2. 2 and InteliNeo 5500 2.1. This release brings smarter power management and even greater flexibility for hybrid and on-grid microgrids.

One of the standout features is the new Mains Preference Mode, which optimises how systems run in parallel with the grid. It can easily manage fixed import/export limits as well as dynamic grid constraints (known as Dynamic Operating Envelopes), ensuring smooth compliance with changing network requirements.

Key Advantages are:
Configurable Import & Export Thresholds – Adjust to network constraints by defining upper and lower bounds for power flow ensuring compliance with evolving grid requirements.
Optimised Energy Flows – Prioritises the most efficient power source, reducing unnecessary generator runtime and fuel costs.
Grid-Friendly Operation – Smooth transitions between islanded and grid-parallel states while maintaining grid stability and performance.
Future-Ready Flexibility – Enables participation in advanced grid programs such as demand response and export-limiting frameworks.

Other key improvements include:

  • Gen P Optimal Control for more efficient genset and BESS coordination.
  • Switchable ECU CAN speed selectable between 250 kbps or 500 kbps for seamless integration across diverse CAN networks.
  • Enhanced BESS ramping, Q control, and load shedding logic.

All features are compatible with InteliConfig 2.62+.

We believe these updates deliver the next step in flexible, smoother, and future-ready hybrid microgrid control.
