The Emulation Tool Support software key activates the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) emulation function in ComAp controllers. Once enabled, the controller can be connected to the ComAp Emulation Tool — an InteliConfig-integrated environment for emulation.

The Emulation Tool Support software key unlocks the hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) emulation capability in your ComAp controller. When activated, it adds a Virtual Emulation Module to the controller firmware, enabling it to connect to the ComAp Emulation Tool built into InteliConfig. The running model simulates real power system behavior — adding calculated signals to the control loop as if the controller were working with real technology.


Compatible Controllers

This extended feature is applicable for the following controllers:

  • InteliGen 1000 (from FW 3.9.0)
  • InteliMains 1010 (from FW 3.9.0)
  • InteliGen 500 G2 (from FW 2.5.0)
  • InteliMains 510 (from FW 1.5.0)
  • InteliNeo 6000 (from FW 2.4.0)
  • InteliNeo 5500 (from FW 2.2.0)
