The InteliDrive 700 Marine is a next-generation engine supervision controller for marine applications, designed to manage auxiliary, emergency, harbour, and propulsion engines on board vessels. Building on 25 years of ComAp marine engine control experience, it replaces the proven ID-DCU Marine platform with modern cybersecurity compliance, expanded connectivity, and support for all fuel types including methanol, LNG, and dual-fuel engines.

The InteliDrive 700 Marine is the successor to ComAp's ID-DCU Marine, bringing 25 years of marine engine control expertise to a modern platform with built-in cybersecurity, expanded I/O, and future-proof connectivity. One controller covers all marine engine applications, from a simple non-classified auxiliary genset to a fully classified propulsion engine with redundant protection. Whether the vessel runs on diesel, methanol, LNG, or dual fuel, the InteliDrive 700 Marine communicates with any engine ECU via J1939 interface and provides intelligent RPM management with automatic source failover.

All fuel types supported - designed for internal combustion engines regardless of fuel type, including diesel, methanol, LNG, and dual-fuel
Intelligent RPM management - selectable primary RPM source (ECU, CU pickup, or RPU pickup) with automatic failover between sources and differential RPM monitoring
Multi-ECU communication - support for up to 16 ECU modules with J1939 protocols; switchable CAN baud rate (125/250/500 kbps)
Cybersecurity by design - compliant with IACS UR E27; user account management with up to 30 role-based accounts, automatic logout, audit log, SBOM, and System Use Notification
Trusted/Untrusted Ethernet segmentation - native Ethernet plus CM3-ETH plug-in module for separate security zones (local engine room vs. remote bridge/shore access)
Cylinder temperature protection - with left/right bank differentiation and RPM-based protection logic
Propulsion load sharing - for twin-engine installations via inter-controller CAN 2 bus, compatible with InteliGen 1000 Marine power management
Up to 8 Modbus TCP sessions - the highest communication capacity in the ComAp portfolio
Long naming – up to 31 characters for parameters, values, and alarms for improved system clarity and troubleshooting
Built-in PLC interpreter - configurable PLC interpreter with drag-and-drop editor
